Reality takes wind out of sails

Missing yachtsman Paul van Rensburg's brother and sister are expected to arrive from South Africa in Mount Maunganui on Tuesday, but his friends are uncharacteristically reticent.
"We are dealing with things," says private search organiser Regan Boocock.

"We've got a lot of other things going on today."
Paul's 11-metre yacht, Tafadzwa, was found near the Chathams with his dog Juanita aboard, but no sign of Paul.
Chatham Island police are examining the boat and the dog is in the care of the local constable's family.
On Monday, Regan said Juanita would have a home at the Mount.
"We don't know what's happening with the dog," says Regan, "we don't know a lot at all."
Since Paul's disappearance without trace two weeks ago on a three day voyage from Tauranga to Gisborne, Regan and Warwick Gowland have been at the centre of efforts to continue the search for him.
Using mainly internet communications, they have contacted people across the search and rescue spectrum and organised donations to keep the search going.
On TV3 on Monday, Warwick continued their assertion that the original search for Tafadzwa was called off too soon.
"We knew he was out there somewhere and if he was out there somewhere, he was able to be found," says Warwick.
