A group of Tauranga business people have heard about the benefits of ‘giving a little a lot' to the broader community.

At an event at Craigs Investment Partners on Tuesday night, people from Acorn Foundation spoke about the value of giving back to the community both as corporate citizens and as individuals.
Acorn Foundation is a Tauranga based charitable trust, established in 2003, that has a strong focus on using commercial language and reasoning to encourage business people to give back to the community.
The attendees at Tuesday night's meeting all showed great interest in the ideas suggested by Acorn and were impressed with the work done by Blue Light, a police community service that works with youth, and is heavily reliant on Acorn's support.
