Big snapper at Kauri Point

Fishing on Saturday at Kauri Point wharf is a popular pastime, but the joy of catching a large, legal snapper there is much less common.
Aucklander Paul Boeyen enjoyed this thrill on Saturday though when he pulled a seven pound snapper from the water using squid for bait.
