Truck rolls in Te Puke

Traffic is crawling in Te Puke after a collision between two trucks soon after 11am. One has rolled on its side and is now straddling the centre line of State Highway 2 near Dunlop Road.
Eyewitnesses say it was a logging truck and trailer unit, but was not carrying a load at the time.
The other truck involved in the incident did not roll and is not interfering with traffic.

A truck has rolled in Te Puke causing holdups throughout the township.

A crane is being called to remove the rolled truck from the road.
Traffic delays in and out of Te Puke are expected for some time as the roads are believed to be bumper to bumper on State Highway 2 in the area.
