Nephew in the dark on gangs

Tauranga business man Bob Clarkson's squabble with his nephew and former accountant Ian Stevenson continues with Ian denying any knowledge of gang connections behind the Dirty Debtors website.
Bob featured on the website as its most wanted this week with an alleged debt of $315,000.

Bob Clarkson's nephew denies knowing the Dirty Debtors website is run by Hells Angels.

Bob denies the debt and says the website is run by the Hells Angels gang and that the associated Rapid Recovery debt collection company sent gang members to his house to talk to his wife while he was not home and then they visited his daughter – scaring the grandchildren.
'I don't know whether they are (gang members) or not, they are a debt collecting company,” says Ian.
'Bob would be the expert on that. I don't know anybody in any gangs. It's all new stuff to me.”
Bob's claim the debt originates with Ian's costs involved in appearing before the Institute of Chartered Accountants when the two fell out in 2004, is also wrong says Ian.
'He's had the paperwork for it, his statement isn't correct,” says Ian.
'The answer to this is he just doesn't want to pay.
'If this is the case why did his accountant sign up a letter agreeing to pay up all outstanding matters in 2004?”
Bob laid a complaint about Ian with ICANZ and there was a hearing in Wellington, says Ian. He came out of it without sanction or penalty.
'So it was just a waste of everybody's time. He's just never said what he's disputing other than he's disputing it.”
Bob said this week the statute of limitations has not expired on his original complaint and he will be taking the matter to the police.
